Materials presentation requirements
I. Submission
1.1. The journal publishes original research articles presenting new results of theoretical, historical, methodological and practical studies in the arts and art education (see Aims and Scope).
1.2. Manuscripts are submitted through the OJS submission form (after registration) or sent to admin@arteducation.pro.
1.3. The manuscript must not have been published previously or be under consideration elsewhere.
1.4. Submission, peer review and publication are free of charge (see Fees).
1.5. After acceptance, authors send the author agreement and author information form (see Accompanying Documents).
II. Manuscript preparation
2.1. The easiest way is to use the article formatting example (DOCX) and replace its text with your own. Final layout is done by the editorial office.
2.2. Language: Ukrainian or English. File: .docx. Times New Roman, 14 pt, 1.5 line spacing, 2 cm margins.
2.3. Main text: 20,000–40,000 characters with spaces (excluding abstracts and references).
2.4. Order of elements:
- UDC;
- author information in Ukrainian and English: full name, academic degree and title, position, affiliation, city, country, e-mail, ORCID (required for every author). The e-mail is used by the editorial office for correspondence and is not printed in the published article. No more than two co-authors;
- article title in Ukrainian and English in sentence case: capitalise only the first word and proper names, no all capitals, no full stop;
- abstract in Ukrainian and English (1,800–3,000 characters each) and 5–8 keywords;
- main text;
- statements: author contributions (for two or more authors), funding, use of artificial intelligence, conflict of interest;
- reference list (original languages) and References (Latin script).
2.5. The abstract has five short parts: The purpose of the study; Methods; Scientific novelty; Results; Conclusions. Keywords are separated by semicolons.
2.6. The main text contains the following sections, with headings in bold at the start of the paragraph:
- Problem statement and its connection with important scientific and practical tasks;
- Analysis of recent research and publications (including international ones);
- Aims and objectives of the article;
- Main material (with subsections if needed);
- Conclusions;
- Prospects for further research — optional.
Scientific novelty and methods are not given as separate sections in the text — they are stated in the abstract.
2.7. Tables must be editable, with the title above (“Table 1. Title”). Figures have a caption below (“Fig. 1. Title”) and are also supplied as separate files (JPG or PNG, 300 dpi or higher). Sources of borrowed tables and figures must be indicated.
2.8. English texts must be properly translated and proofread; the editorial office may return a manuscript for language editing.
III. Citations and references
3.1. In-text citations and references follow APA style (7th edition): (Surname, year) or (Surname, year, p. 15).
3.2. The reference list is given in the original languages, unnumbered, in alphabetical order (Cyrillic first, then Latin). At least 15 sources are recommended, including English-language ones. Where a source has a DOI, it is given as https://doi.org/…
3.3. References is the same list in Latin script: Cyrillic sources are transliterated, the title is translated into English in square brackets and [in Ukrainian] is added. English-language sources are given unchanged. The editorial office can help authors prepare References.

3.4. Works published in Russian in any country, and works in other languages published in Russia or Belarus, may not be cited.
IV. Review and publication
4.1. All manuscripts undergo initial screening, a similarity check and double-blind peer review (see Review Process, Review of Submissions, Countering Plagiarism).
4.2. Manuscripts that substantially fail to meet these requirements are returned to the author for revision before peer review.
4.3. Accepted articles are published under the Online First policy and included in the next issue.
